Serginho reveals that he suffers from a mental disorder. “I am leaving TVI in tears”

Although he has not given interviews since 2013, Serginho said ‘yes’ to his friend’s invitation and spoke for the first time about his controversial departure from TVI.
The conversation started with Serginho explaining that contrary to popular belief, his real profession isn’t about reality TV or social commentary. âI’ve been a screenwriter since 1998,â he says.
âThis social commentator is not a job for me,â he says, explaining that he has always worked in the shadows and in the production of television content.
âSometimes I say nonsense, but it’s not my job,â he says.
Controversial TVI release
Serginho left TVI about a year and a half ago, having until then been the face of social realities on VocÃª na TV. At that time, there were rumors in the press that its paving had something to do with depression. The facts which are now explained for the first time and in the first person.
âI go off the air when someone comes to TVI, we’re talking in August 2019, and they’re like, ‘Hey look, I’m going to get you out of coordination and then I’m going to take you off the air. was a powerful guy. “I don’t really like people running around with me and I never let that happen,” he pulled, revealing that after this conversation he chose to immediately stop doing Social Chronicle – n ‘not appearing on the air the next day.
Two weeks later, he was finally asked to come back due to the sessions but he refused.

“I suffered from bullying, you [Marta Cardoso] You even said to me: “Look, if you want to leave, I will lend you some money so that you can survive until you find another job”, she recalls, and she thanked her friend. for helping her through this difficult time.
Because of the “harassment” he says is a target for him at work, Serginho says he has started “driving slumped cars and things like that”. âI go to a psychiatric consultation and the psychiatrist gives me an urgent psychological emptying. The next day, I went to the entity I worked with, with green receipts, I went to a manager to tell her: ‘I’m not in good shape, the doctor doesn’t want me to come to work , and the answer is, ‘I don’t “I don’t know why” you are here. “So I left TVI in tears because I was so depressed and because I had been harassed for seven months by a marraqueka who cannot distinguish the left foot from the right foot”, he says, without filters .
Forced to return home, Serginho focused on the treatments and eventually discovered he was suffering from a mental disorder.
“I’m going to say it in public for the first time,” he confirms, explaining that he suffers from cyclothymia – a chronic disease with which he has discovered to live for several years. It is basically a mental disorder that causes mood and state of mind changes early on.
“I stopped talking to someone and went home without knowing why,” recalls Serginho, who realized with the diagnosis what was happening to him and ended up apologizing to various people who, according to him, could have been unfair from the start. Years.
He says, âWhen I was diagnosed and treated, I found out who I am and why I sometimes treat people badly or be rude, when I realized it was because of it. I started to understand myself.
Accompanied by medical and stable professionals, the screenwriter is now going through an excellent professional phase. Serginho is proudly one of the spirits to write the hit series âPatrÃµes Foraâ.
