American Airlines passengers glued to seats after nervous breakdown

TikTok user @ lol.ariee posted a now deleted video showing the woman taped to a seat with duct tape and covering her mouth as well. She also appeared to have her hands tied behind her back.

The woman can be heard repeatedly shouting, “You! You! Tu! ”As the passengers passed her to exit the plane.

The problems began about an hour after the start of the July 6 flight when passengers noticed flight attendants walking up and down the aisle. They saw that the crew were whispering to each other as well. It looked like something was going on in the front of the plane, but no, the passengers were left in the dark as to what was going on.

Eventually, the flight crew began to lock the bathrooms and grab the bags from the overhead storage bins. Finally, the captain alerted the passengers to a “bad situation” on the plane and asked everyone to remain seated.

In later videos explaining the incident, she heard that the woman had some sort of mental breakdown during the flight.

“During the flight from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Charlotte (CLT) on July 6, the crew aboard American Airlines flight 1774 reported a potential safety issue after a customer attempted to open the door. boarding before and was little physically assaulted and caused injury to a flight attendant, ”the airline said in a statement.

“For the safety and security of other customers and our crew, the individual was held until the flight landed at CLT and could be encountered by law enforcement and emergency personnel,” adds the press release.

The woman was greeted on the ground by medical personnel with a stretcher. She was taken to the hospital for an assessment. American Airlines added it to its no-fly list.
