Lavera My Age Eye Cream

She has a very nourishing formula but without being greasy – she was my favorite among the products. Since I have a very sensitive eye area, I was initially afraid to be allergic – but I tolerated it very well! She is great under a concealer and makes sure that little bits are diminished. Trend Sensitive double black mascara

Resulta ng larawan para sa lavera - organic decorative cosmetics

She is the best NK mascara I have had so far. It has two different buildings – one with volume effect and one with a length effect. I have always worn them alternately – that is first length, then let dry, then showered with the volume burger. You can see the result below. Not bad. However, she has a drawback that many NK have – after 4 hours I have a lot of fallout – these are small black dots under the eyelids. Not the fault of the mascara per se – but rather a NK problem. 7 out of 10 points.

I like to wear eyeliner both in liquid form as well as a pen and one is terrible – if the eyeliner does not give off any color or you have to press hard because it is too tight (and that on the eye!). This one is awesome, it is very creamy and gives off color immediately, so you can even use it in the waterline. The color is rather a cool brown and looks very natural. He is also available in gray and black. If you like to wear eyeliner – have a look at this one, it is the best I know in the NK as well as the KK area. He also has a puffy side – great for blurring the hard lines. 10 out of 10 points.

Trend Sensitive Beautiful Eyeshadow

The Eyeshadow does not brocken and has a firm powdery texture. The color is good, but it is rather weakly pigmented, so that one recognizes on the eyelids only a hint of color – at least that was the case with my bright rose tone. One would have to test the darker nuances and see how the pigmentation there fails. An absolute highlight, however, is the integrated folding mirror – under the eyeshadow is a small rotating mirror attached. 6 out of 10 points. Ingredients CTFA / INCI:

Some time ago I got sent by Lavera a series of cosmetics products and did not quite know what I should write – with hair yes – because I know me great. I prefer to leave makeup to the beauty bloggers. But I also manage a nice simple eye make – up. Some products have consistently convinced me – especially the kohl and the eye cream is great!

I hope you enjoyed this review even if such a post is a rarity πŸ™‚ Do you have tips / recommendations or warnings when it comes to decorative NK? Which brands do you use or do you use conventional KK?
Best regards, Zoey
All products were kindly provided to me by lavera free of charge for testing.

I am excited to share new products with you for a dazzling eye make-up! I am working on them and they are all organic and full of great ingredients.
My favorite is the soft eyeliner in golden brown – it’s creamy, super soft, long lasting and stays for hours! I wish they would offer more shades gray, black and brown are available for now. My other favorite what the eye cream my age . I have been looking for a good eye cream for sensitive skin and I am so happy that this one works so well. It does not oily and will moisturise your skin without ruining your eye make-up. The mascara double black has two sides one for volume and one for length, it worked great as well, it has the best of all organic mascaras. I have this issue with all my mascaras has it why I prefer a commercial product like le volume by Chanel. The mono eyeshadow in rose has an amazing packaging, below is a small mirror with applicator and the consistency is very powdery and smooth. The pigmentation was not high, as you can see on the picture – it is barely visible. Maybe the darker shades have a higher pigmentation and would be more recommendable.
Do you have any experience with organic mascara? Can you recommend certain eyeliner, or are you still using conventional products?

Ficcare in large, primavera glittery & diamond aurora borrealis

The Holdiday season started and it is time to get dressed up and spend quality time with your family! If you need inspiration for your hair do – stay tuned for some ideas πŸ™‚ Since our topic is gold and glitter, it is time to show you two new Ficcare Clips that fit the topic perfectly. They are both size large, the upper is a primavera glittery in gold and the lower is a diamond gold with aurora borealis. They are very very sparkly and I would only wear them on a special occassion like a dinner or night out . The aurora borrealis stones are multi-dimensional and have quite a rainbow effect, I tried to capture some in a close up! It was not easy but I think you can guess how they look like.

  • Be bold! Go for sparkle gold and glitter! If your outfit is simple or classic, spice up your hair with nice glittery hair accessories or flowers. I always like a deep burgundy red, emerald green and gold for colours. If you are a cooler type try silver jewellery with clear stones.
  • If you are wearing a fancy dress try to wear your hair a little more elegant like a low sock bun, or in a french twist/logroll if your hair is too long.
  • Bring out the pearls! They are an absolute classic and a must have for every women. Classic family gatherings are a nice opportunity to wear simple and elegant pearl studs. Use some pearls you put on bobby pins as shown in this amazing tutorial and pin them around your bun.
  • Or follow my tutorial below and wear a low cinnamon with accent braids πŸ™‚

  • Part your hair on both sides behind the ear, tie the rest into a low ponytail
  • Twist your bun into a round shape and secure with a ficcare clip or bobby pins
  • braid both sides, either normal english braids or lace braids
  • cross the accent braids top of your bun,
  • then bring them under the bun and secure them with bobby pins
  • Voila – enjoy!

Top 5 Oils for Long Hair

Care : Top 5 Oils for Long Hair

I have wanted to write this post and share my extensive knowledge ehem of 5 years of testing nearly every oil that is available with you πŸ™‚ First of all we are talking about natural, unrefined high quality oils here. Try to buy the best quality that you can find to maximise the effect they have on your hair. Look for labels like extra virgin or organic.

  2. Resulta ng larawan para sa Top 5 Oils for Long Hair

Coconut Oil!  Every girl with long hair needs to have a bottle in her closet! The unrefined version smells heavenly, the effect is amazing if you continue to use it over a long time. I use nearly 5 tablespoons and apply it on my dry hair , let it sit overnight or 30 min- 2 h before every wash. Maybe this is what made the biggest difference while I was growing my hair. You can also try fun fragrance versions like Dabur Vatika and Monoi.
    2. Argan Oil My second favourite oil is argan oil. I love the effect even more than coconut oil, but it is really expensive and if you are a poor student like me, it is going to be hard to use it in the same splendid way as coconut oil. Argan oil is a rich oil with a runny texture, that will soak up into your hair easier than coconut oil. It can smell funny, so do test different brands and don’t give up. I had once a bottle that smelled horrible like goats, the newer one I have smells just nutty. It is a great eye make up remover btw! Just add a few drops on a damp cotton ball and gently press on your lids.
    3. Olive Oil Olive oil is just a basic oil that will always be available even if you travel a lot like I do. It is very affordable and a great oil to mix with your favourite conditioners ( 3 tablespoons) and honey (1 tablespoon) for a extra bit of care and shine. It is a very heavy oil that I use best with any rinse out method, I do not use it as a leave in because my hair will not completely soak it up like argan oil.
    4. Almond Oil Almond oil is a light oil with a very nice runnier texture. It is very nice to use on an irritated scalp and a nice prewash oil as well as leave in oil. If your hair does not need a lot of care you can try almond oil if the other oils have been to heavy for your fine hair.
5.Avocado Oil Avocado oil has the ability to smooth out frizz. It should be a deep rich green colour and has a slightly fruity smell. It a medium to heavy oil that is great if added to your shampoo and conditioner bottles (1 tablespoon per 200 ml bottle). It is very nourishing and nice on atopic skin as well.
These oils definitely make my top 5!
If I tell you now what oils I have used and tested over the last years you will think I am crazy πŸ˜€ I will tell you anyways because we all know that I am a bit nuts over oils ^^. I am doing oil treatments on my hair before every wash so I use up a lot as you can see. I also constantly use them on my ends and as a leave in in between washes.
Oils I have tested so far include : Coconut oil, grape seed oil, macadamia nut oil, almond oil, argan oil, sesame oil, hazelnut oil, argan oil, olive oil, avocado oil, rizinus / castor oil, babassu oil, walnut oil, jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, peanut oil.

Marrocan Argan Oil – liquid gold

Today it’s about one of the most famous oils in hair care – the argan oil. It is simply a wonderful precious oil with excellent care properties that can be used not only in hair care. Argan oil is obtained from the fruit of the argan tree and has a very special scent. It is expensive due to the elaborate processing, but it is worthwhile to pay a little more.
For the extraction of argan oil :

  • It is hand-pressed and also harvested by hand,
  • Argan oil production has always been a women’s business in Morocco :),
  • after collecting the kernels are knocked open and roasted – after which they are ground and from the porridge, the oil settles after some time and the trickle is collected.

DIY & Argan oil

1. Argan oil hair mask
Moisten the hair a little and spread about 1-2 tablespoons. in lengths and peaks. Let this cure over night and spit it the next morning with a little rinse and verduenntem shampoo.
2. Argan oil top care After washing, knead a few drops into your very wet tips – they will dry more slowly than the rest of your hair, becoming very soft and shiny. I love it!
3. Argan oil hair balm Melt about 2 Essl. Shea butter in a water bath as explained here and then mixed 1 Essl. Argan oil with the shea butter. You will get a great rich balm that gets cuddly and soft. Take a small amount and rub them in the palms – then paint over the tips and lengths with them. If you have very dry, cracked feet, such a pack will make you wonder for the night!
4. Eye make-up remover I have very sensitive eyes and my skin is prone to eczema and allergies – most of all I have problems finding a good gentle AMU remover. I have already used everything from Clinique to Chanel and La Roche Posay – but now I do not need that anymore. Moisten a cotton pad with warm water, spread about 5 drops Arganoel and rub it gently over the eyes. The AMU is completely removed and you care for your eye area at the same time.
5. facial serum A wide trick is just after the Geischtsreinigung the face still wet, so spread some Arganoel on the palms and rub gently over the face. Soak in and then use the day cream. Sometimes I do not even need a day cream.

5 great DIY recipes

  1. Deep Conditioning Hair Mask : Apply Argan oil to a light shampoo, leave for a night and rinse with a mild shampoo in the morning. You want to gain incredible shine and softness.
  2. Split-End protection: After you have washed your hair and it has been soaked up in a towel – apply 4-5 drops of argan oil on your ends – they will dry more slowly than the rest of your hair and stay soft and shiny.
  3. DIY- Hair Cream: Mix 2 tablespoons of shea butter with one tablespoon of argan oil – great as a leave in dry hair conditioner. This is a dry and cracked heels overnight.
  4. Eye-Make-Up Remover: I have found it very sensitive and I have tried everything removers, I have tried everything from the pharmacy to the pharmacy and I am so happy to have found this great alternative. Wet a cotton ball and put a few drops of oil on it, gently move over eyes.
  5. Face serum: use a few drops on your damp skin after cleansing or under daily moisturizer for super soft and hydrated skin.

Care: How to Wash Your Hair with Amla

Care: How to Wash Your Hair with Amla
Resulta ng larawan para sa Care: How to Wash Your Hair with Amla

Today was the day – my bath was a small mud puddle, my head is full of Kraeuterkruemmel and smells of forest and leaves. Right the first Alma hair wash is done! I am totally thrilled and hope that you are soon: D First of all a bit of background knowledge. What is Amla and why should it be used instead of the very comfortable shampoo from a plastic bottle that smells so wonderfully of peach and keeps the hair silky smooth?

* Today was the day! My bathroom looks like a little puddle of mud, my head is full of little pieces and smells like a musky walk in the forrest. I washed my hair with amla – an indian herb. I am over the moon with the results and the whole process and hope you will be too in a while. Let’s start with a little know how about amla and why you should consider using it instead of regular shampoo that comes conveniently in a plastic bottle and smells like peaches. *

is also called Indian gooseberry and looks like this . It has antiviral and antimicrobial effects. Especially good if you have sensitive scalp and tend to inflammation. Dried and processed into a paste, it is very suitable for hair washing and also cares for the hair. It prevents hair loss and also graying. Therefore, beware of blond hair. It is great for dark, brown or red hair as it increases the color intensity. It provides shine and also strengthens hair roots and hair shaft.

* Amla is also called indian gooseberry. It has antiviral and antimicrobial effects, preventing infections of the scalp, strengthens roots and prevents hair loss. It enhances color, so be careful with blonde hair. It is a natural hair cleanser when mixed to a paste. It gives the hair shine and strength. *

Washing hair with Amla:

First of all – of course, the laundry takes a bit, you have to prepare the paste and take a little time for it. The more often you wash the harder it can be. I only wash once a week and I really enjoy hair care, you can put it in a little beauty ritual and make a facial mask, make a mask, paint feet and fingernails, make a hair oil treatment with coconut oil first and then have the Amla Mix powder.

* Just so that you know, of course it takes a little longer to wash your hair with Amla than your regular shampoo, you need to prepare the mix and rinse well. The more often you wash the more difficult it can be. I only wash once a week at the moment and I enjoy hair care a lot. You can start to look after your face with a facial peel and deep moisturizer, paint toes and fingernails, and apply a coconut oil mask while you’re mixing the alma powder. *

  • Approximately 3 tablespoons Mix the amla powder with 200 ml of boiling water in a heat-resistant bowl.
  • Min. 2 h or better overnight (I’ve done so) can stand so that everything can well swell.
  • Wet the hair and then massage the paste into the scalp and lenghts. I just took the bowl with me, but next time I fill it all up with an empty shampoo bottle.
  • Do not be surprised – it is a bit grainy and strange. Just continue to massage and pretend to use shampoo.
  • Tie hair up for 3-5 minutes with a water-resistant hair stick and let it work.
  • Rinse with plenty of warm, clear water.
  • That’s it – let it dry in the air and comb now and then! The hair feels very voluminous and only very hard when they are wet – when dry, they are soft and shiny.

Soft extremely voluminous thick hair. Color is a bit stronger than before, so more coppery with me (remember that I have recently tinted). Hair and scalp are well-groomed and the scalp is not stretched. In addition, they have become totally clean! I had day-7 hair – so they were really oily and I had already put in a bit of khadi rose oil. My biggest fear that they will not clean has not been confirmed πŸ™‚ – but see for yourself. However, the drying time has extended and you have to be careful when combing because you have no more smoothing in your hair. After washing I added about 1 teaspoon of Amla oil because it was really too much volume. Incidentally, Alma Pulver smells really good – after leaves and trees!

* Results were very strong thick tresses. The color is a little stronger than before, but keep in mind that I toned my hair recently. Hair and scalp are feeling happy and hydrated. And my biggest concern: do you want to get clean ?? What’s not fulfilled, my hair is squeaky clean and i had day-7 oily hair with a little of Khadi Rose Oil in as well. The time my hair took to dry was a little longer than usually and you need to be careful during combing! No artificial smoothing help left in your hair. The smell is really nice – it is a woody natural smell just like forest trees and very pleasant. My ends were a little to volumized for my taste so I put about a teaspoon of alma oil in as well. *

Hello my dears! The 5 pigtail is one of my favorite pelts – it gets very wide and looks complicated. Every time I’ve worn it, I’ve received curious inquiries, what that is for a braid and that he looks beautiful. He is suitable for shoulder to open-end lengths – but steps can be a problem. If you have shorter hare, you can try to weave it in French – on the same principle, but always take small strands to the right and left. If you ask yourself where to go with the 5 strands – I admit it is rather complicated, it helps to practice it on somebody.

  1. Divide your hair into 5 strands – I always hold three in my left hand and two in my right hand
  2. Start on the right: put the leftmost strand under the following and over the middle strand (as if you were plaiting a normal braid!)
  3. Now change hands and put the outermost right strand under the same principle under the following and over the middle strand
  4. Lichen all following strands according to the principle: under – over right, under over left until your strands are too short.

The next post will be online as usual on the 15th of the following month and this time the topic: Include my favorite care routine ! I’m really looking forward to it because our hair types could not be more different πŸ™‚
PS I have just moved to a new department and have not yet been able to respond to many questions and a clerk since I’m back from Canada, I hope I get to it as soon as possible! Furthermore – who finds the natural hair color: D?

Hello Lovlies!
Whenever I wear a 5-strand braid, people want to ask and ask curious questions – this is an attention grabber for sure! It is a beautiful broad braid with intricate details. It wants to work from shoulder-length downwards – there is no too long for this braid πŸ™‚ Layers might be a problem though. If your hair is shorter you can take it to a braid and take advantage of a prolonged look. Today’s Post is a cooperative post of wickerwork . Check out the girls version via the following links:

  • Start on the right side: put the beach on your left side under the beach next to it and over the middle beach (as if you would braid normally)
  • Change hands and the exact same on your right side: put the utmost right beach under the beach next to it and over the middle beach
  • Braid all rounds in this manner until you run out of length – tie with a simple elastic.

Wickerwork – Cooperation: Soften your Up-Do’s

Resulta ng larawan para sa Wickerwork - Cooperation: Soften your Updos

Today, there is the third of our cooperation post with my two girls from the wickerwork πŸ™‚ So beautiful and practical updos with changing hair accessories are – from the front, we usually all look the same, if the hair is pulled back tight, the Fraeulein Biedermeier look is sometimes ok but every day? But that does not have to be so πŸ™‚ Today we present you several variations on how to make a Dutt gentler and still protects his hair. There are different variants – from elegant to playful, romantic and classic. So much for the annoying criticism of people who nobody asks and who know everything better: You look so strict / professional / omnipresent. Rest back ^ ^

1. Elegant Side-BUN Here it is important to draw a deep side parting, the hair can be glazed with a little AO hair gel or a simple aloe vera gel, in the length comes some coconut oil for the shine. Twirl the hair sideways to a cinnamon and fix it with cute hair ornaments. I took a Mega Flexi in Multiarray Cluster here. (one of my favorite flexi)
Resulta ng larawan para sa Wickerwork - Cooperation: Soften your Updos
2. Messy Bun with romantic beaches Pull some straps out of a loose ponytail, twirl the hair into a loose MessyBun and pin it to a LWB with a hair stick. If you want, you can turn the front pony hair into a small “buff” at the beginning and fix it with Bobbypins.

3.Headband and classic Lazy Wrap Bun This idea goes very fast, is practical and still loosens up the bun – just take an elastic hair band, these are available with stones, braids, stones and quite simply as mine.

You can find Heike’s Post here and you can find Nessa’s post on this topic here.

My favorite hairstyle is mostly the lower side parting, but I wear all variants very often. The next topic of wickerwork will be: 5 things that should not be missing in the holiday suitcase. I hope you enjoyed the post πŸ™‚
Do you have ideas how to break up updos? How do you handle this in everyday life? Best regards, Louisa πŸ™‚

Hello Lovelies! If you are a long haired gal, then you will want to wear it in an up-do just because it is more convenient and you are protecting your hair from damage. It’s a nice and comfortable look – but you’re looking for something to do with it. Hazelnutblonde and hairdreamhairstyles.
1. Elegant Side-BUN Aubrey Organics Hairgel B5 or just plain aloe vera gel. Do a deep side part and smooth your hair. Put some coconut oil in your hair for extra shine and less frizz. Cinnamon and pin with your favorite hair accessory, I’m using a Mega Flexi in Multiarray of Colors. (my favorite! Can not have enough Flexis they are so handy!)
2. Messy Bun with romantic beaches
Pull some loose strands out of your hair and pull out the rest to a loose ponytail, twist them into a messy lacy wrap bun and secure with a hair stick. If you want to make a little buffat the top of your crown by twisting some strands and pinning them into a ponytail.

3. Headband and classic lazy wrap bun
This is a very simple pretty look and wants to be done in just minutes. Just wear a simple elastic headband and a high bun. The elastic bands are available in different colors and styles with some sparkling stones, different braided bands and so on. I choose one that is similiar to my brown hair color.

Tutorial: How to Trim Your Own Hair

Tutorial: How to Trim Your Own Hair

Resulta ng larawan para sa trim your hair
Hello my dears! I trim my hair every month – so always today at the beginning of the month. I do not know any girlfriend who has not experienced it – you go to the hairdresser and want to lace section and 2 cm less hair – 30 min. later you leave the hair salon with 5-10 cm hair length less, a miserable, dissatisfied face and at 15-30 euros lighter. If you let your hair grow, these hairstyles are very well meant 10 cm less nearly the whole growth of a year.
And if the hair is broken or not you should be able to decide for yourself without this decision being taken by a hairdresser. Of course, there are also absolutely wonderful hairdressers and hairdressers. But they are just rare. This method to which I created the collage is called trimming to Feye. At that time Feye wrote instructions for it. I’m trimming with the Crea Clip now . I already wrote something here .

You need a good hairdressing scissors and a hair tie – nothing else. Comb your hair thoroughly and pull the crown you usually wear.

Resulta ng larawan para sa trim your hair

1. Tie your hair in the neck with a braid.
2. Grab behind your back and gently pull your hair elastic straight down your ponytail
3. Pull it until just before the end of your ponytail
4. Grab the plait without slipping the hair tie and pull it forward
5. Keep your tips between the middle and index fingers
6. Carefully cut off the tips with a pair of hair scissors in a straight line
Use a proper barber scissors, Jaguar has great hairdressing scissors. I have mine from a hairdressing shop. Good scissors you get from 30 euros upwards.

Today I trimmed 3 inches, normally I would only trim about 1 inch, but the Tangle Teezer Nightmare still shows its traces …

With my instructions you get a straight edge. If you want a U-Cut you can look past Heike .

How were your experiences with the hairdresser? Are you trimming yourself or do you have a barber of your trust?
Dearest greetings, Louisa.
Hello Lovelies,
Cutting your own hair is easier than you would think. I have been cutting my hair for over three years now, using the method below that you can see in my tutorial. The original idea was invented by Feye. You want to save a lot of money and annoyance. 5 cm, she cut 20 cm of my formerly long long hair. I went out crying with 30 euros less and shoulder long layered hair. This was the last time I ever went to a hair dresser. What did you do so many things with it! -.- ‘

Start with combed hair, do your parting where you wear it the most. 1. Tie your hair back into your neck with an elastic. 2. Slowly and carefully move the elastic down your back 3. Move it down until you reach the end of your ponytail 4. Grab your ponytail from the back and bring it to the front. Be extremely careful not to move the position of the ponytail holder! 5. Grab your ends between index and middle finger 6. start cutting your hair in a straight line, be careful not to cut too much in the beginning, you can always cut more in the case of the ends or not straightly cut.
Right now I use the Crea clip to cut my hair. Before I Had the Crea Clip I have been cutting my hair for over a year, maintaing healthy ends is crucial. I always trim my hair at the first of every month. This time a trimmed a bit more, about 3 cm. Normally I would trim 1 cm. I want to trim a bit more – my hair is a little damaged because of my tangle teezer nightmare ..

Empties : May

Hello Lovelies, I have always liked Empties reviews about used up products and their final verdict. A friend just told me latey that there is not too much beauty content on my blog – so why not change it a little and start a new category. I will incorporate all beauty products not just hair products because I tend to use a product for a long time. I think you will never get a better review than one of a finished product. Please let me know if you would like to read more of these monthly posts :).
Bionike Proxera Body Emulsion for very dry skin. (20 Euro/200ml) Fragrance free, parabene free, nickel free. I did like the body lotion because it did not give me any allergic reaction like red dots and itchiness. My skin is extremely dry and this body lotion really hydrates all your skin layers without feeling sticky. It is one of the most moisturising lotions I have used so far. It does take a little time to soak in though. It is a little pricy and finishes quickly. It had no fragrance but a slight metallic smell that did bother me though. Repurchase? Maybe.
Balea Ultra Sensitive Intensive cream for very dry skin. (5Euro/50ml) This product is as well formulated for very dry allergic skin. It is very oily and does not moisturise well. Unlike most of my beauty products I was very glad when I used up the tiny tube. It is fragrance free and very neutral. After application of the product my skin felt as if there was a film on top – I have to say I did not like the product at all. I noticed more blemishes as well. Repurchase? Definitely no.
Yves Rocher Jardins du Monde, California Almond (3Euro/100ml) This showergel has a creamy formula and lathers up very well. It did not cause any allergic reaction and has a very slight fresh smell with a little hint of marzipan. It did not dry out my skin and was very mild. Repurchase? Yes, i already got the Organic Aloe Vera Version ! πŸ™‚
White Camellia Shampoo (15Euro/11oz) Review here. I simply love the white Camelia Series. The shampoo is very rich so I like to use it when my hair feels especially dry – on the beach or during winter time. I have now switched to a lighter shampoo but I love to have a bottle around whenever I need lots of moisture in my hair. Repurchase? Yes.
GBP Conditioner (15Euro/11oz) Review here. I am still in love with the GBP Series. It is heaven for dry ends and an itchy scalp and the herbal scent is great during summer. The only downside of the series is that it is so rich in protein that you need to alternate every few washes otherwise you will have an protein overload which results in dry ends and straw-like hair. Repurchase? Yes, I think this is my 3rd bottle.

DIY Whipped Coconut Body Butter

Care: DIY Whipped Coconut Body Butter
coconutbutterrecipe Shea cream is a classic very simple recipe that makes for a great body butter that is very easy to make and full of good ingredients. The original recipe comes from the Beauty Cosmos, a German self-drive page, where it is difficult to say exactly because it is extremely popular and has been put together a thousand times.
Unfortunately, I have a lot of allergies, which are getting more and more from year to year and extremely dry skin. Shea butter is a very good alternative to my conventional body lotion from the pharmacy which is quite expensive at 16 euros. Sheacoco nut butter pays off at under 4 Euros per batch and you can spend a long time with her. It contains only two ingredients and is very fluffy. It is best applied on slightly wet skin after showering and is also a magic powder to keep feet, elbows and hands supple. It needs no preservative, as there is no water phase.
* This whipped shea butter recipe is extremely easy and full of good ingredients that will help you with dry skin and itchy patches. It’s a classic recipe and I’m not sure who invented it first, but I think it’s Beautycosmos , a german DIY Cosmetics homepage.
Over-priced pharmacy products. My usual body lotion costs about 16 Euros, this body butter is under 4 euros and will last a long time. It only contains two ingredients and is best used on mild damp skin after you shower. The consistency is very fluffy and because there is no water. *

That’s what you need:

  1. A good kitchen mixer
  2. A bowl
  3. 6 tablespoons Extra virgin coconut oil (room temperature)
  4. 6 tablespoons Shea butter (room temperature)
  5. Of course, plastic or glass containers. I simply reused empty cream jars.
  6. If necessary 2 drops of essential oils. Of course, if you take extra virgin coconut oil, everything smells like coconut.

Make sure that everything is rinsed off and clean.
* You will need a good kitchen aid, a bowel, 6 tablespoons of coconut oil and 6 tablespoons of shea butter (room temperature !!). If you want to add essential oils of your choice, I have used coconut oil which has a slight and very nice coconut smell. Mix shea butter and coconut oil in a mixing bowl and use it to fluff up the mix for about 6 minutes. Fill into clean plastic or glass container. Enjoy πŸ™‚ The body butter makes great gifts as well as can be stored up to two months. *

Take 6 tablespoons each. Coconut oil and shea butter and start beating the amount with the blender until it looks like this (about 6 minutes):
Then simply fill in the clean dry containers and use within 2 months. Incidentally, the coconut body butter is also very good as a gift πŸ™‚ If you do not have as many allergies as I can add ethereal peppermint and rosemary in summer, lemon and orange in spring and a little vanilla in winter.

* If you are not as allergic as you (coconut oil), you can add essential oils of your choice. Use peppermint and rosemary during summer for a refreshing feeling, lemon and orange during summer and vanilla during winter months. *
